Weddings at blue: Jenna and Caleb
Nothing tops the love felt at at a wedding. We could certainly feel the love and Jenna and Caleb’s wedding reception here in our event center – and we couldn’t have been more excited to help make this special day memorable for such a special couple! The glowing bride, Jenna, gave us some insight into planning such a memorable celebration here at blue.
What was your favorite part of planning your wedding?
The best thing about planning your wedding is that it’s a celebration about the two of you. Every detail that goes into the day, is catered around planning the biggest and best celebration of your life! My favorite part of planning our wedding was getting to bond closer and closer with not only my mom, but my mother-in-law. Planning a wedding is such a special time between a mother and a daughter and you grow closer than you could have ever imagined. These are memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
Why did you choose blue as your wedding venue?
A wedding is a special celebration that you, along with your guests, will remember for years to come. Something that was special for us was accommodating our guests in any way possible. blue was one of the only venues in the Lehigh Valley that allowed us to customize and tailor our day to us! Working with the events team at blue removed any stress, worry, or overwhelming feeling that I had. The event coordinators put 110% into making sure your day was one of a kind. What was important to us was making sure our guests had an experience to talk about, and what other way to do that then supply them with the best food they’ve ever had. Being able to rent out the restaurant for cocktail hour allowed our guests to comfortably mingle, sit and enjoy their appetizers and cocktails.
What did your guests say they enjoyed most about your wedding?
After our wedding the amount of calls and texts we got saying; “your wedding was over the top!”, “this was the wedding of the century!”, was incredible. The guests raved about the cocktail hour which consisted of a pasta station, raw bar, vegetable crudite station, import & domestic cheese station, hummus dip display, antipasto display, carving station, some passed Hors d’Oeuvres, and the infamous prosecco bar which was decorated with ice sculptures. The guests discussed how they’ve never been to a wedding with better service and efficiency. My father-in-law, who is high up in the food industry, commented on how every steak that came out was not only hot but cooked specifically and correctly to the guests’ request.
What is your favorite memory looking back on your wedding day?
The best part of my wedding day was getting to marry the man of my dreams in front of all of our closest and most intimate friends and family.
“At Blue, you’re not just another wedding or number to them. They sincerely care and put everything they have into making your wedding one for the books,” Jenna said. “You wouldn’t settle when choosing the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with, so why settle on a subpar venue when you can choose Blue!”
Congratulations once again to Jenna and Caleb as they begin their lives together as newlyweds!
